About Me

When I was in college, I was really into Russian history. When I graduated, I went to Kazakhstan for a year to teach English because why not. After I got back I started learning how to code at my job at the NASA/Astrophysics Data System (ADS).

While I started with Python for data munging and analysis, I soon fell in love with front end development and spent several years working on a new interface for ADS.

I worked at a product design agency called Fresh Tilled Soil for a year as a front end developer after completing their UX Apprenticeship program. Now, I’m thrilled to be working at Codecademy in NYC.
